Observe tadpoles, small frogs, water striders, or dragonfly larvae. With magnifying glasses or sieves, you can take a closer look at the creatures living in the water.
  2. Explore the stream
Follow the flowing water and see which animals and plants live here. Small crustaceans, snails, or dragonfly larvae hide in the water. Can you find them?
  3. Discover the water wheel
Watch how the water wheel turns as the water flows. See how water and simple technology work together.
  4. Try the water pump with a challenge
Here you can operate the water pump yourself. Who can get the water flowing the fastest? Compete with your friends, test your strength, and have lots of fun.
  5. Water helps plants and rainwater makes a difference
See how water supports the beds and flowers, especially during long hot and dry periods. Using rainwater is even better because it nourishes plants while saving water. This shows how we can support nature in a smart way.
  6. Hide and observe
You can hide near the pond or the stream and quietly watch animals without being noticed. Who will spot tadpoles or water striders first?
  7. Experiment and play
Test which objects float or sink, such as leaves, small sticks, or seeds. Observe the movement of the water in the stream or set the water wheel in motion.
  8. Discover with all your senses
Listen to the gentle sound of flowing water, feel the cool air by the shore, and watch how plants and animals live in and around the water. Learning becomes a real adventure.
